A surprise in the minibar
Our stay was delightful! The room was beautifully decorated and incredibly spacious, providing us with all the comforts we needed. Waking up to a sumptuous breakfast, particularly the fresh fruits and sweet Belgian waffles, made each morning special. The staff's friendliness and willingness to assist exceeded our expectations, making us feel truly welcome.
The only downside was having to leave this oasis of luxury. We wishes we could have stayed longer! Minor hiccups like the missing slippers were hardly worth mentioning.

We stayed for a night, heaps impressed with the comfy room and clean vibe. Just a shame 'bout the noisy nightlife outside, eh? But overall, a sweet escape.

Highly Recommend for Anyone Looking for Comfort
The staff went above and beyond, especially when Pete helped us secure a room for an extra night at a fantastic deal. The breakfast spread was excellent with both continental and cooked options that kept us energized for the day ahead.
It was a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Halvard Hotel features immaculate decorations, spacious rooms, and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, perfect for senior visitors like myself. The complimentary mini bar with snacks and drinks was a delightful surprise and added a special touch to our stay.
Pillows were rather firm. softer options would help.

Just a proper fit for a short visit in Douglas with good value for cost. The complimentary mini fridge stocked with treats every day was a nice surprise. Check for any noise if you're a light sleeper.

Open plan showers are a clever design, but they can turn the bathroom into a bit of a water park, and I found myself hunting for a side plate and knife at breakfast since not everything was on the table when I got there. The floors in the rooms are a tad uneven, which might not sit well if you're prone to wobbling about, and while the colored lights might appeal to some, they were a bit too much for my taste. it got pretty hot during my stay, hitting 27 degrees, and while the fan helped, the firm pillows left something to be desired, so I'd recommend bringing your own.

Exceptional Service and Luxurious Rooms
We had one night in a deluxe king room and were blown away by the stunning views over the promenade and the high-quality furnishings throughout. Pete at reception went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, even helping us secure a room for a longer stay after we were so impressed. The breakfast was a treat with a vast selection, including buttery croissants and freshly brewed coffee. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lovely restaurant's dinner options.
